The United States opened the 2016 Ryder Cup in dominating fashion on Friday, sweeping the foursome matches of the opening session. Now, the Americans will attempt to add to their 5-3 overall lead in the final foursomes session on Saturday morning.

The USA will mostly stick with what worked on Friday.

To little surprise, the United States will turn back to many of the pairings that found success on Friday. Jordan Spieth and Patrick Reed improved to 3-0 as a team in the Ryder Cup Friday morning (though they later dropped their afternoon match), and they will anchor the United States’ lineup on Saturday.
Phil Mickelson will again be paired with Rickie Fowler, while Zach Johnson and Jimmy Walker will group again. The change on Saturday is the addition of Brandt Snedeker and Brooks Koepka in place of Dustin Johnson and Matt Kuchar. Snedeker and Koepka are riding some momentum, as they were the only United States team to win their fourball match Friday afternoon.
Johnson, Kuchar, Ryan Moore, and J.B. Holmes will all sit out the morning session for the Americans.
After losing all four foursome matches on Friday, the Europeans will go with an entirely different approach on Saturday. While some players will play in the foursomes again, all four groups are new pairings. Matt Fitzpatrick will also make his Ryder Cup debut after not playing on Day 1.

9:20 a.m.: Patrick Reed & Jordan Spieth (USA) vs. Sergio Garcia & Rafa Cabrera-Bello (EUR)
