Dustin Johnson has a message for Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth, Sergio Garcia, and the rest of his opponents on the PGA Tour who were maybe hoping the world No. 1’s back injury might slow him down a tad.

Not a chance, guys.

Seems DJ’s feeling a whole lot better since withdrawing from the Masters just prior to his first-round tee time. He’s even pummeling golf balls as far, or farther, than before he fell down some steps and wrenched his back, according to the Huffington Post’s Jordan Schultz.

Johnson said he slipped on a short flight of stairs the day before the opening round at Augusta National, and he tried everything to recover in time for the tournament.

Given the latest health bulletins, DJ appears to be on track to return to competition, as planned, at the May 4-7 Wells Fargo Championship in Wilmington, N.C.
