J.B. Holmes fired a third-round 70 on Saturday, earning himself a share of the lead at the 2017 Players Championship, and a spot in the final pairing on Sunday at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

Holmes was steady as they come with pars in his first 10 holes on Saturday, then fired three birdies on the back nine to go along with a bogey on 14. Holmes is at 9-under par, and will tee off Sunday with co-leader Kyle Stanley at 2:30 p.m. ET.

Lurking at just four strokes back is Masters champion Sergio Garcia, who fired 67 on Saturday to put him at 5-under for the tournament. Garcia was scorching on the back nine in the third round, with three birdies and an eagle in a six-hole stretch. The eagle came on 16:

Garcia tees off at 2 p.m., paired with Patrick Cantlay.

NBC’s television coverage conveniently begins at 2 p.m. on Sunday, with online streaming available through NBC Sports.

Perhaps the most notable Sunday pairing is Rory McIlroy and Jason Day, scheduled for a 12:50 p.m. tee time. Both golfers start the final round at 1-under, eight strokes off the lead.
