U.S. Open 2017 weather forecast: Still a chance of scattered storms
It’s a mostly dry forecast with chances of showers and storms into the weekend.

FRIDAY — Round 2 of U.S. Open:
Overall a fairly dry day for day two of the U.S. Open but we introduce the chance of scattered showers and storms in the afternoon. They look few and far between, but a storm or two could cause some minor delays through the round. Morning temperatures start off in the 60s but warm into the low-to-middle 80s by the afternoon. Golfers can expect a southwesterly wind between 5 to 10 mph during the day. Higher gusts if storms approach and pass by the golf course.
SATURDAY — Round 2 of U.S. Open:
Saturday may be the wettest day of the tournament with the highest chance of seeing areas of showers and storms. Temperatures in the afternoon still expected to be warm in the low-to-middle 80s, but showers and thunderstorms increase for the mid-to-late afternoon. Winds remain southerly between 5 to 15 mph
SUNDAY — Round 4 of U.S. Open:
Drier than Saturday with just a slight chance of a shower or storm for the day under partly to mostly sunny skies. It will be cooler as temperatures only rise into the mid 70s during the afternoon. It will also be the windiest day of the tournament. Winds will be out of the west between 10 to 20 mph and we could get gusts near 25 mph.
