PGA Championship 2017: You have to see this Justin Thomas birdie putt to believe it

The golf gods taketh away, and in the case of Justin Thomas’ miraculous birdie, they giveth and giveth some more.

If anyone is destined to win this PGA Championship, it has to be Justin Thomas.

After nailing a tree with his tee shot on the par-5 10th, JT could not believe his good fortune when the big old oak on the left side of the fairway spat his ball back to the fairway.

But wait, there’s more.

He hit a laser shot over the green from some 276 yards to the front of the green, chipped it back to the putting surface, and stroked what appeared to be a bit of a yank with his putter. And then — well, just watch:

A fist bump with his caddie and a tip of the cap ensued. Thomas is one shot off Hideki Matsuyama’s 8-under lead.
