TOUR Championship 2017 live stream: Tee times, TV schedule, and how to watch Round 2 online

The PGA Tour Championship rolls into its second round Friday, and the game’s 30 surviving golfers all have the chance to call themselves 2017 champions — or better, earn the FedEx Cup and the $10 million that comes with it.

The golfer who finishes Sunday’s event with the most FedEx Cup points will take home the season-long title and its eight-figure check. For top-five players Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Dustin Johnson, Marc Leishman, and Jon Rahm, a win secures the Cup. For everyone else, things get a bit more complicated.

For 30th-ranked Patrick Cantlay to win, for example, he’d need the field to finish pretty much in the opposite order of its current rankings. The scenarios remain similarly bleak until you hit the top 15.

But while Sunday’s titlist may or may not earn a boatload of cash, he’ll earn the title of PGA Tour Champion by taming the East Lake Golf Club. East Lake, located just miles from downtown Georgia, is a classic southern course. Water obstacles define the 7,300-yard track, punishing errant tee shots and altering approaches throughout the round. Tightly manicured, undulating greens will make two-putts a chore.

On Thursday, Kyle Stanley shot 6-under 64 to lead after the first day. There’s a logjam behind him with four players at 4-under, including Brooks Koepka, and another five at 3-under. Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas are both included in that T6.
