The 85th Masters is upon us, with one of the most anticipated golf tournaments in years. Tiger Woods is looking like Tiger Woods again, and defending champion Sergio Garcia is a new dad.
Masters 2018: Full schedule for the week at Augusta National
A look at the schedule for this week at the Masters tournament in Augusta, Georgia.

Golf is a generational game and no tournament spans generations like the Masters, with a week-long celebration of the best in golf feeling a lot like stepping into a time machine to the sport’s past, complete with $1.50 pimento cheese sandwiches and fans that are called patrons in Augusta, Georgia. It is a great week for golf with legends mingling with current stars all angling for the coveted green jacket.
Here is a look at the schedule for the week.
Masters 2018 schedule
Monday, April 2: Practice Rounds, 8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. ET
The first day at Augusta is mostly full of arrivals, especially for the players who played in the Houston Open the week before. These arrivals are spread out over a few days. Outside of some press conferences here and there there will be television coverage on CBS Sports Network from 12 to 2 p.m. ET with Masters on the Range, timed roughly for when players are expected to make the turn.
Masters.com will also provide online coverage in that same window, plus footage from a camera stationed at the 16th hole.
Tuesday, April 3: Practice Rounds, 8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. ET
More player arrivals and potential practice rounds, with CBS Sports Network and Masters.com again providing coverage from 12-2 p.m. ET. There’s also a Champions Dinner at night that is of great interest.
Wednesday, April 4: Practice Rounds, 8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. ET and Par-3 Contest, Noon ET
The par-3 contest is unique to the Masters, and includes a tee sheet of former winners, legends of the sport and friends of the invitees will play a fast-paced nine holes on Augusta’s par-3 course.
Thursday — Sunday: Full Competition Play
Television coverage of the actual competition begins at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN for both Thursday and Friday, then moves to CBS on Saturday and Sunday, with the broadcast beginning at 2 p.m. on the final day. Actual tee times are released prior to each day, but generally, play will begin around 8 a.m., and one of the frustrating things about the Masters each year is the lack of viewing options for those earlier golfers.
Live streaming of the tournament can be had via a simulcast stream at WatchESPN and CBS Sports, as well as through fuboTV, which carries CBS. The Masters official website will have its usual multiple-stream setup, which include separate streams for featured groups (including early-morning, before-the-broadcast coverage that people crave during the event), Amen Corner and Holes 15 & 16.
