The U.S. Open’s final round began on Sunday with four players in a tie for first place. Dustin Johnson’s four-stroke lead blew away in a few gusts of Shinnecock Hills wind on Saturday, and he’s now joined in the lead by Brooks Koepka, Tony Finau, and Daniel Berger.
How to watch the U.S. Open on Sunday
Dustin Johnson and three others started the day tied at Shinnecock Hills.

Finau and Berger shot 4-under 66s on Saturday, coming back from 11 shots back of Johnson entering the weekend. They were two of three players to score below par on moving day. Koepka and Johnson are the last two winners of this tournament — Koepka last year, Johnson in 2016 — and will form the most-watched grouping on Sunday.
The co-leaders don’t start to tee off until 2:13 p.m. ET, when Johnson and Koepka take to the first tee. Berger and Finau will follow them at 2:24 p.m. ET. On Saturday, Berger and Finau teed off more than four hours before Johnson did. Can you remember a time when two guys who teed off before 10 a.m. on Saturday were the final group on Sunday at a major?
If there’s a tie atop the leaderboard after 72 holes, a two-hole aggregate playoff on holes 17 and 18 will decide the national championship. That’s a new format this year, a departure from decades of the USGA using an 18-hole Monday playoff to get rid of ties.
