The PGA Championship may be the fourth-rated major in some arbitrary major championship rankings. It can be a whipping boy in the media and amongst golf fans. The course this week, well, it’s not gotten the best reviews from the press and players.

But it’s time to set all that aside. The fact is we’re set up with a leaderboard that should yield an amazing afternoon of television. No one cares about the status if we’re going to get a watch like we did on Saturday. The pace was quick as the best in world fired dart after to dart onto a soft course that’s among the easiest you will ever see for a major championship. It was much needed after a relatively lethargic first two days.

Now we’re in line for more of the same on Sunday. The centerpiece, of course, is the greatest draw in the history of the game, Tiger Woods. For the second straight major, Tiger will play in the third-to-last group in the final round. That’s always going to be an enormous boost to the ratings whenever Tiger is within shouting distance. That’s how you end up with the dang Valspar Championship getting a bigger rating than a major.

And Tiger is within shouting distance again. He’s four shots back of 54-hole leader Brooks Koepka, who appeared like he would run away with it in the middle of his third round. It’s a longshot chance for Tiger, but it’s a realistic shot. The margin is the same at The Open and we saw him get on the solo lead on the back nine on Sunday in that round. Tiger will tee off just after 2:30 p.m. ET alongside Gary Woodland and expect to see his every shot all the way into the clubhouse.

TNT and CBS will split the coverage on Sunday, which has been the arrangement at this major for probably as long as you can remember. CBS bookends the majors season and will get the first leg of the FedExCup Playoffs before bailing on golf when football takes over the weekends. CBS has thrown a ton of money in technology at this year’s PGA, and it’s paid off with ample tracer all over the course. Sunday will also be back to the normal flow after a long Saturday that ran from 8 a.m. until almost 8 p.m. ET as we worked to make up lost holes from a rain delay.

There’s almost no chance of rain on Sunday so we should finish on time around 7 p.m. ET. Here’s your media schedule for Sunday’s final round at Bellerive:
