Happy Gilmore fans might know what the 18-18-18 challenge is.

Most believe the feat is impossible, but this avid fan of the movie proved all the doubters wrong and posted it for the world to see.

For those that aren’t aware, the challenge consists of 18 beers and 18 hot dogs consumed during 18 holes of golf. The person must down a beer and engulf a hot dog on each hole’s tee box.

It is not for the faint of heart.

TikTok user @ronnydoitche stepped up to the plate and got the job done.

“And YOU can count on ME, waiting for YOU in the parking lot... For a few more Beers,” he wrote as the caption on the video.

That is of course referencing one of the many quotable lines from the hilarious 1996 Adam Sandler film. The infamous line was uttered by Mr. Larson (whom this fan is dressed as), who delivered it in a threat to Shooter McGavin.

Spirits are high on the first few tee boxes. But as the challenge progressed, you can tell this golfer might be regretting his decisions.

However, he hunkered down and prevailed. Did he completely miss the ball on the 17th hole when he swung at it? Yes, yes he did. The booze certainly took its toll.

Despite the adversity he faced, the challenge was completed.

One of the best parts of the video is after his round when a man walks past him in the parking lot as he’s likely on beer 19.

Did you break the record? Oh, you just did? Terrific.”

Golf fans went nuts on social media when it surfaced. These reactions are fantastic. Could he have sparked a new TikTok challenge?

Twitter user, MaddHawk knows an athlete when he sees one and this guy who completed the 18-18-18 is just that.

This Twitter user, Zach Fox, has the right idea. The 18-18-18 Challenge would be the perfect fantasy football consequence for the person who finishes dead last.

This guy’s incredible feat wasn’t for everyone. Twitter user Golf Nut Society judged him pretty intensely for taking on such a challenge. Stuff like this isn’t for everyone, but a lot of the younger generation can appreciate making golf fun.

Even brands got in on the action. Dude Wipes commented about it, making a hilarious joke. Hopefully they sent the guy some wipes just in case.

Regardless if you enjoyed it or not, this guy accomplished something most wouldn’t even attempt. He may be dealing with the consequences for a while, but it got the golf world’s attention.

While finishing under par is every golfer’s goal when they step on the course, what this guy did was truly impressive. Is it a record breaker to most golfers? No, but he should still have his photo in the pro shop because it is memorable.
