Jason Day new Malbon Golf digs at The Sentry earns massive troll job from fans

Day switched gear ahead of the 2024 PGA Tour season and the Malbon Golf fits have not been the fans favorite option.

Jason Day is no longer with Nike and his new look on the course leaves plenty to be desired.

Day joined Malbon Golf’s team, a luxury golf brand that landed Day as its first PGA Tour ambassador. He talked about not wanting to look just like the other players on Tour. Well, mission accomplished, I guess.

Thursday’s fit wasn’t terrible; it fit him better than the announcement video garments. Not many trolls came out that first day, but he brought out the pants on Friday.

Day enjoys his new clothing sponsorship as he posts after each round of play.

However, the fans clearly feel differently than he does. Day was the talk of social media, and the jokes about the pants will surely make anyone giggle.

Day’s pants make him look like he woke up in the 90s. Many compared him to MC Hammer and his parachute pants.

Friday’s troll jobs were both plentiful and hilarious.

It’s more about how they seemed too big instead of the style. If those pants fit better, maybe more people would like them. They aren’t ugly clothes. Some people are just so used to what most golfers wear. When a player is different, they don’t know how to handle it.

Fix the fit, and more people might be buying Malbon Golf apparel. When purchasing something that nice — the fit is just as important as the patterns, color choices and style. A lot of their options are cool, and the hope is that Day is someone who can grow their brand, literally.
