Scottie Scheffler jaw-dropping reaction to Bryson DeChambeau Masters hole out goes viral

After Bryson DeChambeau’s wild finish to the third round, Scottie Scheffler had a priceless reaction that immediately went viral.

Bryson DeChambeau had a whirlwind of Saturday, tumbling down the leaderboard with a third-round 3-over 75.

But he salvaged his round with a miracle birdie on the 18th hole—a hole-out birdie from 77 yards out that has him sitting at 3-under through 54 holes. DeChambeau is four strokes behind Scottie Scheffler, who holds a one-shot lead over Collin Morikawa at 7-under.

Scheffler had a rollercoaster round, too, going from being the solo leader to three shots back to holding the lead by himself again in minutes. He ultimately shot a 1-under 71 and will play in the final group with Morikawa on Sunday.

DeChambeau, meanwhile, played in the final group on Saturday alongside Max Homa. As such, Scheffler and Nicolai Højgaard teed off 10 minutes before them, meaning Scheffler had the honor of getting interviewed before DeChambeau.

Consequently, while standing alongside Amanda Balionis from CBS Sports for his post-round discussion, Scheffler watched DeChambeau hole his third shot on 18, and his reaction was priceless.

Here is the shot that produced that reaction from Scheffler:

DeChambeau will peg it in the ground at 2:15 p.m. ET alongside Xander Schauffele in the third to last group for Sunday’s final round. The 2020 U.S. Open champion still has an outside chance at winning at Augusta National, but it remains unlikely.

Even then, if DeChambeau does pull off a vicious rally and win the Green Jacket, most of the golf world’s mouth will become agape in shock, just as Scheffler’s did late Saturday.
