Scottie Scheffler has done it again. He is the 2024 Masters champion, claiming his second Green Jacket in three years.

Early Sunday, it felt as though there would be drama down the stretch at Augusta National. Scheffler said not so fast and came down the stretch like a madman to win by four shots.

It has been a long time since a player has dominated like this. Tiger Woods did it for a while. Rory McIlroy did as well, but now it’s Scheffler’s turn.

Most of the reactions to his third victory of the year showed Scheffler a lot of respect, but there were also some funny ones out there.

After clinching another major, fans and media alike were left no choice but to show respect.

One of the more comical reactions came at McIlroy’s expense.

It is not easy to win at Augusta National in this fashion. No one has won by three or more shots twice in three years. So it’s understandable why this Twitter user considers Scheffler the boss.

Twitter user Chad Hartman is right — golf is better with a dominant player. He isn’t just better at this event but is overall the best male golfer in the world. Scheffler earned his World No. 1 status.

Chasing down Scheffler will be one of the biggest storylines for the rest of the year. How many wins will he have in 2024? How many of those could be major championships?
