Additional Scottie Scheffler arrest footage produces epic trolling from golf fans

Louisville Police released photos of Officer Bryan Gillis’ pants, which led fans to go wild in the wake of Scottie Scheffler’s arrest.

If anyone thought the Scottie Scheffler arrest saga ended when the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) dropped charges, they are sadly mistaken. Nearly a month after Scheffler’s arrest at the PGA Championship, more details from that morning continue to go public.

Additional photos surfaced on Friday of arresting officer Bryan Gillis’ pants, which were described on the police report as “damaged beyond repair.”

Once the footage hit the internet, PGA Tour golf fans pounced on the opportunity to troll Officer Gillis again. Each new piece of information about Scheffler’s arrest seems to add fuel to the fire.

This latest update saw golf fans take trolling to another level. These reactions are hilarious because the photos really showed minor injuries, making Scheffler’s initial charges even more ridiculous.

X user Nick Kurtz’s joke about the injuries will cause people to remanence because those Razor scooters destroyed a ton of ankles.

Shooter McGavin also nailed it with his joke.

Another hilarious joke is from X user W, aka @ZitiDoggsGolf, “I dare you to tell an Italian mother with a sewing kit that these are damaged beyond repair.” Many mothers and grandmothers would likely repair those pants in 15 minutes or less.

Hopefully, no more information will surface from this incident because the more that it does, the worse it looks for LMPD.

Scheffler currently leads the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village in Dublin, Ohio, where he hopes to win his third Signature Event title in 2024. He has also won the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the RBC Heritage.
