Jack Milko has been playing golf since he was five years old. He has yet to record a hole-in-one, but he did secure an M.A. in Sports Journalism from St. Bonaventure University.

Lydia Ko won the HSBC Women’s World Championship for the first time in her career, and received a winner’s check worth $360,000.

Her winnings from Singapore allowed her to surpass Karrie Webb ($20,293,105) on the Career Official Money List. Ko has earned roughly $20.6 million throughout her Hall of Fame career and is now second on the all-time Money List, trailing only 10-time major winner Annika Sorenstam.

Sorenstam won $22,583,693 during her illustrious career, and Ko will need to win about $2 million more to surpass the Swedish legend. That accomplishment is well within reach for Ko, who is now in her 12th season on the LPGA and has shown no signs of slowing down. Sorenstam, meanwhile, retired in 2008 after playing 16 seasons professionally.

Ko’s victory in Singapore marked her first win of 2025 and her first since last September when she triumphed at the Kroger Queen City Championship. The New Zealander and current World No. 3 won the AIG Women’s Open at St. Andrews one month before that. Her other win in 2024 came at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions at Lake Nona in Orlando, her home course.

Overall, Ko has won 23 LPGA events, including three major championships. She also won the Player of the Year award in 2015 and 2022 and the scoring title in 2021 and 2022. Her Olympics profile is quite impressive too. Ko won the Gold in Paris in 2024, the Silver in Rio in 2016, and the Bronze in Tokyo in 2021.

She has an impressive resume, one that continues to improve as time wears on.
