Personally speaking, the two worlds I inhabit the most here at SB Nation are merging this week.

Tuesday will kick off this year’s NFLPA Classic in Mayakoba, Mexico. It is a tournament designed to showcase some of the NFL’s most notable faces, and the plans for it are rather impressive.

Taking place at El Camaleón Golf Course in Riviera Maya, Mexico, the Classic has a number of current NFL players, including Sauce Gardner, Aidan Hutchinson, Sam LaPorta, Von Miller, Austin Ekeler, Drake Maye, Harrison Smith, Budda Baker, Brock Bowers, Will Levis and Terry McLaurin. They will play in foursomes, featuring a team captain leading each group.

Viewers will be in for quite the treat as Golf Channel and Good Good are media partners of the event. You can fully expect to see their impact on all of the golf being played.

“The NFLPA Classic isn’t just about golf—it’s about competition, camaraderie, and having a great time on the course,” said JC Tretter, NFLPA Chief Strategy Officer and founder of The NFLPA Classic. “This year’s tournament at Mayakoba is going to be something special with Golf Channel covering the action and Good Good Golf bringing their signature energy and creativity. I can’t wait to watch these guys put on a show.”

It is always interesting to see NFL players do anything athletic that isn’t their sport of choice, so this will be highly entertaining. The NFLPA Classic can be seen on Golf Channel on March 25th and 26th from 6-8 pm ET.

Let the fun begin.
