It is major week for the LPGA Tour with the AIG Women’s Open beginning on Thursday in Wales at Royal Porthcawl. Links golf never gets old and we should be treated to an incredible bit of it.

The LPGA Tour has been across the pond (generally speaking) for a while now and that territory has almost exclusively been dominated by freshly-turned-professional Lottie Woad. Lottie won both the KPMG Women’s Irish Open and the Scottish Open in her first start as a professional.

Lottie will be playing with the last two winners of the Women’s Open in Lydia Ko (the reigning champion) and Lilia Vu. That is quite the expectation to place on young Lottie, but she has certainly shown to be deserving of that kind of hype.

Coverage of the event can be seen on USA on both Thursday and Friday from (times here are CT) 6am to 1pm and it is going to be an incredible event to watch unfold.

We will see how action begins and who is able to conquer the final major of the season in the golfing world.

Buckle up and get ready.
