The Washington Post’s Michael Lee spotted it first, and the Post later reported on it, and Ted Leonsis just wrote about it on his blog, saying “Many of you have seen a new version of a Wizards logo circulating online. We won’t get into confirming or denying the validity of any logo designs.”

And... Does that sound like a confirmation? It’s certainly not a denial, right?
As a Wizards fan, I guess I was hoping for more, but as a Wizards fan, I also won’t be happy at all until the team gets changed back to the Bullets one day and/or find a way to make Andray Blatche disappear. Absent those miracles, even if it turns out this is the real logo and they’ve just used Microsoft Paint to color in their old logo with new colors, I think red-and-blue is a step in the right direction. So I’m cool with it.
So what do you think? Can they find a way to make Blatche disappear? Legally, of course.
Not advocating kidnapping or anything. I think.
