2013 Indy 500 Weather forecast: Threat of showers have increased
The threat of rain has increased for Sunday’s 97th running of the Greatest Spectacle in Racing the Indianapolis 500? Will this rain cause problems or delays? Check out the weather forecast for all the activities at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Warm front moving into central Indiana on Sunday combined with an upper level disturbance will increase this threat of scattered showers and storms on Sunday. Because of these showers the possibility of rain affecting the Indianapolis 500 is between 30 to 40 percent. I think they can get the race in tomorrow but there could also be delays and red flags. We will just need to keep an eye on the radar as we go through the afternoon on Sunday.
