Getafe's 26-year old right winger Pedro León, on loan from Real Madrid, will be facing over a month on the sidelines after being diagnosed with a grade two sprain of the medial ligament in his right knee. Medical conducted today confirmed the scope of the injury and Leon will not be expected back on the field until mid-January at the earliest.

The injury occurred in the 63rd minute of Getafe's 1-1 draw with Osasuna on Saturday. Diego Castro replaced León after the injury and ended up scoring the stoppage time penalty that allowed Getafe to salvage a somewhat undeserved point from the match.
León has been a regular for Luis García Plaza's side, who currently sit in 7th place in league table. Ángel Lafita or Pablo Sarabia are the most likely candidates to cover for the injured midfielder, though Getafe are fortunate to have a reasonable amount of depth in the midfield.
