2012 Olympics: TV Coverage, Event Schedule For Sunday

Day 9 of the London Olympics promises to be a busy day, with 24 gold medals up for grabs. A number of notable events and athletes will be in action on Sunday.

The women’s doubles and men’s singles gold medal matches headline the Day 9 action in Tennis. Serena and Venus Williams will attempt to repeat as Olympic gold medalists in women’s doubles. The Williams sisters previously won gold in 2008 and 2000. Roger Federer will try to win his first Olympic gold medal when he faces Andy Murray.

There will be six gold medal events in track & field Sunday, with the most notable being the men’s 100m final. Usain Bolt will look to repeat as Olympic champion in the event, but he will have stiff competition from fellow countryman Yohan Blake and the American Tyson Gay among others.
