On Monday, With Leather posted about the Clemson halftime show, which had a Nintendo theme and was shot and uploaded to the Internet by someone with the world’s most tenuous grasp on WHAT SHOULD I FILM WHEN HUMANS ARE FORMING LARGE SHAPES.
Clemson’s band has Nintendo-themed halftime show
Hey, look, another band made some shapes. Let’s all give them an award.

Video aside (because this video oh my god this video no no no), it’s fine. They made some shapes that totally resembled some Nintendo things and set it to Nintendo music. Great whoop-te-doo.
Look, good for them. Solid B minus. But did you see what Ohio State’s band did last month? That’s a halftime show, son. You made a perfect Goomba, Clemson. I’m supposed to throw you a party now?
Your Mario was half-assed. I won’t even talk about your Link.
My point is: step your game up. You have a theme and know how to make shapes. That’s step one. Maybe if you try real hard, you can be in the conversation. For now, I refuse to do anything but acknowledge this happened.
