ESPN, Reese’s conspire for a bit of totally unintentional Derrick Rose cruelty

Oh, that is not good.

Welp.

The above screenshot was posted in the comments at SB Nation’s Blog a Bull, where fans are understandably shaken by Derrick Rose’s right knee injury, suffered Friday night. In ESPN.com’s story on the injury, a video includes a pre-roll ad for Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. You know the ad. It’s on TV a lot. And man, that is some totally cruel and unintentional cruelty.

By the way, we’re still waiting on further news about Rose’s injury. An MRI is scheduled for Saturday in Los Angeles. Rose didn’t play at all in 2012-13 recovering from a torn ACL in his other knee.
