Omer Asik isn’t going anywhere, so the guy who failed to trade him is at least trying to make the guy feel wanted.

However, after setting Thursday as the day for a potential Omer Asik deal, nobody wanted to trade with them for Omer Asik -- perhaps because they made it so obvious they wanted to get rid of him in the first place, wrecking their leverage. And Thursday appears set to turn into Friday with Asik still a Rocket.

And as Mike Prada pointed out in our Campfire room, the fact that this tweet is blowing up is giving Asik a host of votes to the All-Star Game. Sure, teams don’t want to trade for Omer Asik, but how about ALL-STAR Omer Asik?
