Chargers hold practice on an aircraft carrier

The San Diego Chargers gave back a bit to the local community on Wednesday when they practiced on an aircraft carrier.

The Chargers held a walk-through on Wednesday, ahead of their final preseason game Thursday night. By itself, that is not interesting, of course -- but they had that practice aboard a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier:

San Diego visited the USS Ronald Reagan as a way to thank the sailors and their families for their service, taking time for pictures and autographs. The Chargers even used some of the troops for plays during the practice.

Talk about firing missiles and dropping bombs!

The Chargers’ website has a complete photo gallery from the practice.
