Watch 1979 Terry Bradshaw frolic in magical sneakers

If Terry Bradshaw had wings on his feet, would the wings on his feet make him fly? Yes.

Honestly, if this were a commercial with an unknown actor, it would still be a delight. The opening line of the jingle is “New Spalding shoes feel like wings on your feet, and with wings on your feet you can flyyyyy,” and it’s utterly brilliant. The vibrato really drives home the majesty of new Spalding shows.

But it’s not an unknown actor. It’s Terry Bradshaw who is merrily scampering through the woods with his golden retriever.

That’s some mighty nice running, alright, but can the shoes really make you ...

THEY WEREN’T LYING.

Also of note: That logo is coming out of his butt.
