You may have heard about the Detroit Lions’ kicker woes. First they had rookie Nate Freese, who went 3-for-7 with no kicks from longer than 30 yards. Then they cut him for Alex Henery, who went just 1-for-5 and basically cost them a game. They signed Matt Prater, who hit a 52-yarder today -- and made his holder SO SO HAPPY
Lions finally hit a field goal, holder is ECSTATIC
Matt Prater is the Lions’ kicksavior.
Sam Martin REALLY liked that 52-yard FG from Matt Prater. #OnePride pic.twitter.com/a08ZErQKc1

Prater has also missed two field goals, so, who knows, perhaps we’ll see another Lions kicker.
