Buccaneers send cheerleaders out to combat Vikings’ comeback drive

Ahhh, the old “send the cheerleaders to do a routine directly in front of the opposing huddle” trick. Normally they stay on the sideline -- it’s not clear whether the dance team and coaching staff coordinated on a dance distraction package specifically for situations like this, or whether this just happened to be a coincidence. But either way, it didn’t faze Minnesota -- they drove down the field for a field goal to send the game to OT.
