High schooler’s 61-yard field goal is crazy, state-record-breaking kick

This kick smashed a Wisconsin state record that has stood for almost 70 years. The longest field goal in NFL history is 64 yards from Matt Prater of the Broncos, kicked at elevation in Denver. Zach Hintze of St. Mary’s Springs High School was just three yards shy of the NFL record, and did this in Fond du Lac, Wisc. -- not thousands of feet above sea level.
