Brock Osweiler was so sad Peyton Manning stole his play time

James Dator
James Dator has been covering a wide range of sports for SB Nation for over a decade, with a special focus on the NFL.

Broncos up by 31, in the third quarter ... this is Brock Osweiler's time to shine. Instead all he could do was happily jog to get his helmet and see his chance go up in a cloud of smoke.

Poor guy. Stop being so mean, Peyton.

Update: Osweiler knows his reaction went viral, and he’s been a really good sport about it.

“It all happened fast. There was some miscommunication there — are you going in? Am I going in? We’ve all had a pretty good laugh about it,” Osweiler said. “It did (look like he was mad). Obviously everyone wants to play, but no, shoot, everyone’s had a good laugh. It’s all good.”
