‘Good luck USA! Don’t Die!’ is the best Olympic advice

A fan sent the a perfect card to U.S. ski jumper Peter Frenette.

U.S. ski jumper Peter Frenette has received a pile of fan mail while in Sochi, but one note stands out above the rest.

This seems a little odd until you recall that ski jumpingis, as our helpful guide explains, “a sport where you try to jump over the length of a football field without getting maimed. (People often get maimed.)”

Again, here’s the view from atop Sochi’s jumping center.

So, yeah. Good luck, Peter. Don’t die!
