Snowboarder Jamie Anderson won gold for the U.S. in the first-ever women’s slopestyle event ... but only after she deleted Tinder, the hook-up app that is apparently taking over the Olympic Village.
Tinder is taking over the Olympics
“Tinder in the Olympic Village is next level.”

We are all #blessed US Weekly got us the scoop:
“There was a point where I had to be like OK, this is way too distracting. I deleted my account to focus on the Olympics.”
Tinder describes itself in Apple’s app store as a service that “finds out who likes you nearby and connects you with them if you’re also interested” and it actually makes a ton of sense that it would blow up in the Olympic Village.
”Tinder in the Olympic Village is next level. It’s all athletes! In the mountain village it’s all athletes. It’s hilarious. There are some cuties on there.“Guess the athletes saw this plea, via Business Insider, in the Olympic Village Daily.
My tinder tweet made the Olympic village daily 😜 hopefully it brings me more matches and closer to the Jamaicans! 🙊 pic.twitter.com/F3H7rLL3Mo
