Here’s how close USA was to Olympic hockey gold
Canada beat the U.S. 3-2 in OT to win women’s hockey Olympic gold, and it’s all this dang goalpost’s fault.
USA led Canada 2-1 with less than 90 seconds left in the women’s hockey gold medal game when this puck clanged off the goalpost. Canada scored again in regulation and won the game in sudden death OT.
