Nick Young throws out the first pitch at a Dodgers game, is a Swaggy P(itcher)

The Nick Young On Top Of The World tour continues with an awful first pitch at a Dodgers game.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Nick Young’s Lakers might have missed the playoffs, but he is FULLY EMBRACING the role of the team’s top scorer in a Kobe-less year. He’s using his time off to go to every single Los Angeles sporting event possible.

Tuesday, he was on the zamboni at the Kings game. Wednesday night, he was throwing out the first pitch at the Dodger game. It went ... well ... not so well.

Hey, at least he didn’t bounce it. Surprisingly bad, considering he had gotten some tips from Orel Hershiser before the game:

It’s disappointing that his jersey back says “Young” instead of “Swaggy P,” like his Kings jersey. However, if we consider his newfound position -- pitcher, or “P” on the scoresheet -- we can truly say that Nick Young is a Swaggy P.
