The first question Kingsbury was asked was if any single moms of recruits have flirted with him, and the coach was open.
“Yeah,” he said, laughing. “You’ve got to play to your strengths. So I kind of encourage that a little bit. It’s part of the deal.”
Recruiting is a tough business, and colleges should seek to grab every advantage they can get. The question is: is this actually an advantage? Sure, moms have a big say in where their kid goes to school, but some players will probably be more on the “YO COACH STOP HITTING ON MY MOM” side of things.
