When Spanish cyclist Eloy Teruel crossed the finish line during the seventh stage of the Tour of California, he began celebrating his stage victory. Unfortunately, there was still one lap to go.
Whoops.
We’re just going to go ahead and file this under “things that are really embarrassing”.
In case you’re wondering, Teruel ended up finishing 56th.
