Rays catcher Ali Solis got knocked out of the game after a ball took an errant bounce and socked him in the nose.

I suppose you could say that Ali Solis’ nose fought the ball, and the ball won.
To add insult to injury, he was credited with a strikeout, even though he couldn’t finish the at-bat. When José Molina replaced him and promptly struck out, the at-bat still counted against Solis.
Some things just aren’t fair.
