Young Royals’ fan Austin Sides threw out the first pitch of the Royals’ game on Tuesday night. He was not aware his father, Air Force Major Robert Sides, was behind the plate to receive it after returning from a year-long tour of duty:

Austin’s face just lights up when he realizes it’s dad underneath all that over-sized catchers’ gear.
