Justin Rose is locked in a playoff at the Quicken Loans National, so we can’t really blame him for being too tired to complete this impressive retrieval of his ball.
It’s one of those clips with lots of stages. First is the impressive fishing of the ball out of the hazard, next the overconfident tip into his hand -- then completely flubbing it. For a split-second he considers going back to get it, but nah. There are plenty more fish in the sea and balls in the pond.
