Jimmy Kimmel got people to answer “How did Landon Donovan play?” at the World Cup

These answers are pretty bad. Okay, really bad.

The only thing worse than missing the amazing action of the 2014 World Cup is being forced to acknowledge that you didn’t watch it. Jimmy Kimmel Live took to the streets to catch people in their lies by asking a simple question: “How did Landon Donovan play in Brazil?”

It’s a simple answer to anyone who followed even a few minutes a day. Donovan was left off the team under much furor, but the team played extremely well without him. Unfortunately answers ranged from making up fake moments to crediting him with other player’s highlights, including Luis Suarez’s infamous bite vs. Italy.

The best lie is a purported butt goal vs. the Canadian province of Saskatchewan, which didn’t happen nor will it ever.
