77-year-old checks ‘skate with roller derby team’ off her bucket list

Jeanette Morris is a 77-year-old from Cardiff, Wales who had a simple wish on her bucket list: To be on roller skates again. Thankfully one amazing Roller Derby team with a big heart was happy to oblige.
The septuagenarian was an accomplished roller girl in the 1950s and her daughter wanted to see if she could fulfill her mother’s wise. The Tiger Bay Brawlers stepped in to lend a hand with skaters Boba Fettish and Thrill Collins leading her around the track.
They even gave Jeanette a nickname, “Big Jeanie” and she proved that despite being a little older she has plenty of spunk.
