Todd Frazier is a lucky man.
Brooks Conrad saved Todd Frazier from flipping into the dugout
Conrad always had a flair for the dramatic.

Padres’ infielder Brooks Conrad is our hero here. Conrad had not been in the majors since July 30, 2012, and his first day back in the bigs was Wednesday. While he didn’t start, he did happen to stand exactly where he was needed most, and Todd Frazier’s head remains in one piece because of it.
I’m going to guess Frazier doesn’t know how to take a bump flat on his back — you know, like anyone who hasn’t been to wrestling school — if for no other reason than because of how desperately he grabbed on to the railing to avoid flipping over while Conrad made sure that was an effective panic move. Once Frazier’s life stopped flashing before his eyes, the game resumed.
Thanks, serendipitous Conrad. We will remember this alongside your backyard grand slam.
