Dogs love pie. Dogs love eating their own throw-up, too, but they especially love pie. You know who else loves pie? Adam Jones of the Baltimore Orioles. When two things love pie that much, there’s no sense in making one of them wait.

That’s via the Washington Post, who notes that someone wrote an anti-pie letter to the Baltimore Sun regarding Jones’s post-game celebration.
While Jones has continued to pie his teammates, he appears to have taken Knowles’s request to heart when interacting with canines. During Monday’s broadcast, MASN showed a clip of Jones hanging out with a rescue dog to promote the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS) and the Orioles’ 2015 Pet Calendar. In an upset, Jones did not pie said dog.
The dog probably would have choked on one of those nasty, crusty sugar-bone flowers that people put on cakes. Pie just goes down so smooth.
In conclusion, pie is better than cake and dogs are awesome.
