The Carolina League is quickly becoming a hotbed for manager blowups. Earlier this month the manager of Myrtle Beach undressed at home plate, now Tommy Thompson of the Winston Salem Dash added to the anger.
Thompson took his shoes off in a fit of rage. Maybe this one wasn’t quite as good as completely disrobing, but it did feature a good old fashioned helmet toss. Ah, we missed you.
