From here on out, we are always calling Michael Bennett “Black Santa.” We are totally okay with this self-anointed nickname.
If you look closely, there’s Bennett’s autograph, which says Michael Bennett... and “Black Santa.”
A brief Google search reveals that yes, Michael Bennett always signs his autograph with “Black Santa.” Although we can’t find any evidence of anybody actually calling Bennett “Black Santa” besides himself. A Redditor claims Bennett thanked Black Santa at Richard Sherman’s celebrity softball game this summer, which would seem to indicate that he himself is not Black Santa, but, whatever. We are on board with this. Michael Bennett is Black Santa.
