Jill and Jan Nguyen, twin sisters from Mesa, Ariz., showed up to Media Day toting a sign declaring their desire to “Get Gronked.” But what does “getting Gronked” actually entail?
These girls just want to ‘get Gronked’
“If you have to ask, then you can’t afford it,” said Jill.
OK, but for real.
“It’s whatever you want it to be,” she added.
No, really.
“We don’t know,” shrugged Jan.
Which just proves that no one really knows what it means to get Gronked.
The girls both said that they have yet to get Gronked, but are willing to get Gronked if the opportunity to get Gronked comes up.
“Not yet,” said Jill, when I asked if Gronking has been gotten. “But if you can make it happen, I’ll totally get Gronked,”
It’s entirely possible that Jill has already gotten Gronked and just doesn’t know it.
Unfortunately the girls won’t get a chance to get their Gronking on at the big game. Both are pharmacists and have to work on Super Bowl Sunday.
“People still need their drugs on Super Bowl Sunday,” said Jan.
