Tension hangs in the air as the Patriots prepare to take on the Colts, who were the first to question the firmness of New England’s footballs. Tom Brady didn’t go too wild in the pregame press conference, so the Daily News called Brady’s dad to get his opinion.
Tom Brady’s dad says he wants the Patriots to drop 60 points on the Colts

Of course, Tom Brady Sr. said he wants his son’s team to win. He also added:
”I’d like to see them put 60 points on the board, and love to see Tom throw for 500 yards and eight touchdowns. That’s me dreaming. That kind of comes from me.
“This week is no different than any other week. I want to put 60 points on the board every game.”
Brady Sr. wants the Pats to score 10 TOUCHDOWNS, and he wants his son to throw for EIGHT of those. No big deal.
To put that into perspective, the record for most touchdowns passes in an NFL game by a player is seven, and that hasn’t been done since 1969. Although, Brady did come close to that in 2007 vs. Miami, tossing six. Maybe his dad will end up being right.
