The Buffalo Bills had a lousy game in London against the Jacksonville Jaguars. You can blame it on the jet lag, but the team is placing the blame on batteries.
The Bills had communication issues because they reportedly forgot to charge their batteries.

According to Pro Football Talk, head coach Rex Ryan complained about the communication between him and quarterback EJ Manuel. The situation was so bad that Manuel had to run to the sideline in order to properly communicate with his staff.
It turns out that the batteries weren’t fully charged. They eventually swapped their headsets with fresh batteries.
“They finally fixed it,” Manuel said to ESPN. “I don’t know the technical reasons why it wasn’t working and why it was working at certain times.”
The Bills better make sure they bring extra chargers and batteries next week.
Update: According to the Buffalo News, the NFL used the London game to test out a new wireless pack, which caused the communication issues. “That report we had low batteries is completely bs,” according to a Bills source.
