Cam Newton tries to draw a penalty by soccer flopping and playing dead

We knew Cam Newton could run and throw, now we know he can also act a little bit. After the Eagles went offsides, Newton sold the contact to the max in an effort to draw a roughing the passer call. He may not have succeeded, but he has us convinced he got struck by lightning and not just lightly pushed.

And because he is Cam Newton and literally smiles while scoring touchdowns, he popped up grinning about his effort.

This isn’t the first time Newton has tried to flop to draw a call, but his acting skills have improved dramatically from the 2013 playoffs.
