Stephen Curry is a one-man highlight show against the Pelicans, again
Curry finished the game with 53 points and a lot of highlights.
Stephen Curry is just unfair sometimes, like in that play. It looked like he had lost control of the ball but then he somehow managed to fire a no-look over-the-head pass between three defenders to Harrison Barnes for the dunk. Even Anthony Davis has to be impressed by that.
He was just getting started then. He went on to outscore the entire Pelicans team in the third quarter, 28-26. There’s nothing anyone can do to stop the reigning MVP when he’s feeling it and trying seems to only make things worse.
That’s one of his five three-pointers of the quarter. Here’s another one, this time against perfect defense.
He was toying with the poor Pelicans.
Curry finished with 53 points, one shy of matching his career-high. He’s just unstoppable when he’s on, as the Pelicans know by now.
